We were able to travel to California for a lovely vacation with just the three of us. My nephew Taylor and some of Tom's family live there right now so we got to catch up with them while we were there. It was SO much fun and so needed after a very busy summer and before school starts again. We are now addicted to the ocean and all things Disney. :)

Jacob had to spell his name in the sand after watching us trying to put "hoping to adopt" in the sand and take a picture before the waves washed it away.

We were able to celebrate Jacob's birthday while we were at Disneyland. What more could a five year old ask for?

Our little family after seeing the beach for the first time this trip. Tom and I haven't been to a beach in ten years and so of course this was Jacob's first time ever. It's such a wonder to see the power of nature.
