These pictures aren't in any order but just show a few moments of happiness that this precious girl has brought to our family. I can't believe it's almost been a year since she was born. We learned about the possibility of Eve 3 weeks before she was born. Like any adoption we didn't want to get our hopes up too much and we didn't even have a due date for her. So we were taking it pretty slow and then suddenly we got a call that Eve's birth mom was in labor. What a wonderful whirlwind! Tom and I were in the car within the hour and heading out of town. We met Eve's birth mom that day for the first time as she gave us our sweet miracle baby. I have so much love and respect for the wonderful woman who will always be a part of our lives. Her and Eve's birth dad made an incredibly difficult and unselfish decision to allow us to raise sweet Eve and make her a part of our family. We will forever be grateful to them. As you can see in the pictures Jacob is as in love with her as the rest of us.

We got to take our kids to Hawaii. It was probably a once in a lifetime experience and I'm so thankful we had our kiddos with us.
