About me, wow, its difficult to write about yourself. I don't think I could start anywhere else but my love for my sweet Amber. She is truly my entire world. I remember like it was just yesterday, sitting with her on one of our early dates and being in complete awe at her beauty. She was glowing and she continues to glow in my eyes every day. I absolutely love to listen to her sing. Her voice can only be described as angelic, it truly is. I knew she and I were meant to be together and I am eternally grateful to our Heavenly Father for her. I feel like I have been blessed with this sweet daughter of God that deserves nothing less than all that I can give her and love her. She lifts me up, supports me and is why I live. Her and I are what I would want for everyone when it comes to being in love.
I believe that I have been blessed with a good outlook on life. When I was very young, due to illness I was very close to not even being here. I don't remember but small pieces of this experience but I have always been told about the prayers that were offered in my behalf which made me appreciate God very early on. I was so fortunate in my childhood to have a Mother and a Father who did all that they could to provide for my older brother, myself and younger sister. Our home growing was always very humble and there was so much love within the walls that we never felt like we went without anything. Our vacations were usually camping and fishing which instilled in me a love for the outdoors and fishing. I have always been close with my brother and sister and feel fortunate for that relationship.
I love football and competitive sports in general. I was fortunate to be somewhat successful in high school sports to help pay for college. A turning point in my life was between my Junior and Senior year of high school for a number of reasons. One was, that is when I met my sweet Amber. The other, is that is when I joined the LDS Church. I could write for quite some time about that experience but it is safe to say that was a crucial point that changed my life forever.
I quickly gained a desire to serve a mission and wanted to serve in the church in any way possible. I was able to serve a mission in the Idaho Boise Mission where I had some amazing experiences and learned a great deal that continues to help me in my profession and every day life. After my mission, I came home and Amber and I were quickly married and anxious for lay in store for us. We went to Eastern Arizona College for two years before transferring to the University of New Mexico where I finished my degree in Business Management. We thought we might stay in Albuquerque but felt drawn to return home. We did so and I began my career in Human Resources which is both challenging and rewarding.
I absolutely love our little boy Jacob. He is so much fun! I just know the love I feel for him is exactly the same love I will fill for the precious gift we receive through adoption.
If I were to cover my likes/dislikes, I have always loved George Strait and old Country. :) but I really enjoy all kinds of music. My Pandora radio is always on Amos Lee- "The Arms of a Woman"
I'm a fan of Colorado teams when it comes to sports. Broncos and Avalanche.
My favorite speaker of all time is Jeffrey R. Holland who is an apostle for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I listen to his talks quite a bit.
I enjoy movies, favorite is "The Family Man" My favorite food is Salmon and Steak.

From Amber...
Tom LOVES his family. His life revolves around them and he is constantly striving to make their lives better. He is currently working as the Director of Human Resources which is a wonderful job that keeps a regular 8-5/ Monday-Friday schedule.
When he's not at work or working in the yard or on the house Tom's first choice of recreation is to fish. He caught this beautiful trout at Vallecito, CO this past summer. Probably his once in a lifetime fish and he sure is proud.
Tom is also an artist and has drawn some beautiful pencil sketches like this one.
Another picture of Tom on the lake. Going to the lake for a day of fishing and swimming is one of our favorite family outings.
